2010 CONFERENCE INFORMATION

March NHEDA Meeting & Training

March 10th 13:00 Hours in the meeting room of the town hall in Milford. One Union Square, Milford, NH. Training will include instructors from Milford Fire Department to talk on two subjects:
fire alarm boxes (i.e.: short-arm vs. long-arm conditions),
and about RIT (Rapid Intervention Team) and the need for 20 minute PAR checks.
Also, Nelson Taylor of Milford Area Communication Center will talk briefly on police MDTs
and the kind of things that can be communicated digitally.
Tours of MACC Base will also be provided.

NHEDA MEMBERS--if you are interested in running for office in 2010, please email your interest to: election@nheda.org so your candidacy can be posted. The following positions will be filled at the annual meeting in April: President, Vice-President, Secretary, Treasurer, Director (at least 3). Visit the election page for candidates info!

CONCORD CLASSROOM IS FULL FOR THIS SESSION--waiting list is being developed--there IS still space in the Littleton classroom.

TRAINING OPPORTUNITY--NH Bureau of Emergency Communications is offering the APCO PST1 course at their Laconia facility: March 22-26, 0800-1630hrs. Cost is $80.00 for the manual. Contact Tracey Potter-Labarre or Dale Twitchell at the Training Unit (603-527-2069) for details or to register.
