Promoting Training, Advocacy, and Networking of NH’s Emergency Communications Personnel since 1990.

Who We Are…

The New Hampshire Emergency Dispatcher’s Association started in the mid-1980s, however, was formally established in 1990.  In 1994, NHEDA implemented a mission statement in that its primary goal was for advocacy, networking, and training.

"The purpose of this organization is to give support to each of the members, and be an effective means of communication between our members; provide and facilitate meaningful training and standards in all disciplines of emergency communications."

Fast forward to the year 2003, the NHEDA Constitution was adopted.  Since then association as a whole has continued to grow from its roots to now over 700 members.
