The NHEDA President's Award is selected each year by the President alone. From NHEDA President Jonathan Goldman: "As many of you know, my agency suffered a catastrophic loss in September. Not knowing what to do, and wanting to make sure my team was taken care of I reached out to the DESC Peer Support Team. Over the next several months Becky Desrochers and Darren Lescarbeau were there for my team, even checking in on me. In the past six months, I have personal knowledge of the DESC peer support team being involved in at least three critical incidents within local dispatch centers. I am pleased to present the 2023 NHEDA Presidents Award to the DESC Peer Support team for their support in the mental health of NH’s Dispatchers and Telecommunicators. They are an amazing group of people, who give selflessly of themselves and often time at their own peril to take care of our telecommunicators and Dispatchers in New Hampshire."

    All 2021 Awards were presented to the members of NH Enhanced 9-1-1. The Awards Committee and the NHEDA Executive Board wanted to recognize those members for their leadership throughout the unprecedented COVID-19 Pandemic.
